Become an Exercise Leader!

The U.S. Army Pregnancy and Postpartum Performance Training Program helps Soldiers stay fit during and after pregnancy. It promotes safe exercise, improves recovery, and supports the health of both mother and child. By following proven guidelines, the program helps Soldiers gradually get back to being physically ready while considering the changes their bodies go through. Through helpful resources and personalized fitness plans, it enables Soldiers to maintain their health and perform their military roles, building resilience and readiness in the force.

Make a difference in the Brigade and become a P3T Exercise Leader (EL)

The P3T (Pregnancy Postpartum Physical Training) Exercise Leader plays a crucial role in the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) framework, focusing on the physical readiness of service members during and after pregnancy. Responsibilities include conducting safe and effective exercise sessions tailored to the unique needs of pregnant and postpartum individuals. The Exercise Leader assesses participants' readiness for physical activity, provides education on appropriate exercise techniques, and monitors participants for any signs of discomfort or fatigue. Additionally, they collaborate with other health professionals to develop individualized fitness plans, ensuring that all training aligns with the overarching goals of maintaining operational readiness and enhancing the overall well-being of military personnel. Through effective leadership and support, P3T Exercise Leaders empower service members to safely navigate their fitness journeys during pivotal life stages.
